SheWellness Initiative
Work Undertaken

The SheWellness Initiative, a collaboration between our NGO and Shani Dham Trust, is dedicated to promoting maternal health and well-being.

Key Initiatives:

1. Empowering Expectant Mothers: The initiative aims to empower expectant mothers by encouraging early pregnancy registration and providing essential health care services during pregnancy. By prioritizing the health of pregnant women, we support initiatives that ensure their well-being.

2. Ensuring Access to Healthcare Services: SheWellness Initiative focuses on providing access to crucial healthcare services for pregnant women, including health tests, injections, iron pills, and food supplements. By offering these resources, we strive to improve maternal health outcomes and reduce pregnancy-related complications.

3. Providing Referral Vehicle Facilities: The project includes the provision of referral vehicle facilities for pregnant women, ensuring prompt access to medical care and transportation to healthcare facilities if needed. By facilitating transportation, we contribute to enhancing maternal health access and outcomes in the community.

4. Discouraging Underage Marriage: SheWellness Initiative aims to discourage underage marriage, recognizing its adverse effects on maternal and child health. Through awareness campaigns and promotion of pregnancy registration, we advocate for delaying marriage to create a safer environment for women and girls.

At UNF, we are dedicated to promoting maternal health and ensuring the well-being of women and children. Through partnerships like SheWellness Initiative, we strive to create a future where every mother and child has the opportunity to thrive and lead a healthy life.
