Work Undertaken
The U & N Foundation, in partnership with the All India Confederation of the Blind, initiated Project Vision Bridge, an empowering initiative aimed at bridging gaps and empowering visually impaired individuals through various forms of training, support, and assistance.
Key Initiatives:
1. Empowering Through Training and Support: Project Vision Bridge provided training in essential skills like daily living activities, animal husbandry, and small business operations. Additionally, it offered necessary equipment and financial assistance to empower them to lead independent lives.
2. Education and Skill Development: The project prioritized education by providing visually impaired children with access to quality education and skill development programs. Training in meditation, home management, beauty culture, and communication skills aimed to enhance participants' capabilities and confidence for personal and professional growth.
3. Promoting Financial Independence: Through financial support initiatives, the project fostered entrepreneurship and self-reliance within the visually impaired community, enabling individuals to pursue their aspirations.
